Matthew Traxler

Short Bio: 
Professor Traxler is a Professor of Psychology, Associate Vice Provost for Academic Planning, and Director of Summer Sessions at the University of California, Davis. He uses eye-tracking and event-related potentials to investigate the mental processes that underlie language comprehension, with a special emphasis on syntactic processing and individual differences. He is currently the primary investigator on an NIH-sponsored project that investigates syntactic parsing in deaf American Sign Language-English bilinguals.
